eyes
Everybody knows that spending time in front of the computer can damage your vision, but I seem to defy that rule, and spend 10 hours a day in front of it, without any side effects. Also, I'm not like those who have started wearing glasses after one or two years working behind a monitor, as I'm quickly approaching 10 years of use, and my vision remains excellent.
Being very proud of my eye sight, I used to test it on different things such as moving cars, or reading small text on different things, from as far away as possible. My friends, however, started telling me to take care, because at one point my vision would certainly be affected.
Since my parents, who agreed with my friends, were pestering me to take up a sport, I decided to please them and try jogging. A quick search online revealed the best equipment to buy, and the best time of the day to start jogging. After learning everything I needed to know, I was all set.
I was really happy with my choice of equipment, as my sneakers made running much easier, and the SanDisk Sansa c250 2 GB was a joy to listen to. Quite cheap, and with very good sound quality, the player really was much better than I had expected. I even ended up listening to music on it, instead of my computer, due to its better quality.
I currently have achieved a nice balance between jogging and sitting in front of the PC. I'm very happy with myself, and can clearly see that my body is in a much better shape than when I started jogging. My friends and parents have also told me that running has really helped me turn my life around. I love knowing that my health is getting better, but I don't have to sacrifice my fun and enjoyment to be healthy. There's a fantastic feeling knowing that!
