Other unhealthy customs or lifestyles can also cause bad mouth breath like for instance when you use cigar or you are a drinker of alcoholic beverages. Our mouth doesn’t generate saliva to make our mouth wet or to flush it when we are sleeping, and with this reason, we can obviously have fowl mouth breath every morning.

This cause can be classified into two categories: internal and external. Having gum problems and other related health problems refers to internal cause that bring fowl breath and they can be sinusitis and liver problems, respiratory tract illness like if you have bronchitis, regular sinus infections, postnasal leak, diabetes, and other problems. Other internal halitosis causes can be yeast infectivity in the mouth, poor dental and dental caries. When you have dry mouth or xerostomia, it can also cause you to develop foul breath.

External causes on the other hand are usually due to the food we intake and the liquids we drink in or even due to our unhealthy lifestyle. Food like garlic, onion, or fish can give us halitosis or bad breath. These types of foods include chemicals which are not easily freshened up in our blood stream, thus they can stay for long within our lungs and by the time we breathe out through our mouth, we can smell something bad. People, who smoke, drink alcoholic beverages and even pregnant women are in risk for having bad breath.

The best method to fight the infuriating halitosis, bad breath problem is by means of maintaining a proper oral hygiene. We should see to it that we do regular brushing, flossing, and dentist consultation as these are the necessary things we must do. See to it that you always take in plenty of water to avoid your mouth from drying and avoid foods having intense smells.
